Lin Man Power launched EnerTech AMI in Ilocos Norte with INEC.

Lin Man Power, a Filipino-owned company based in Santa Rosa, Laguna and Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative (INEC), has successfully launched its EnerTek Automatic Metering Infrastructure (AMI) in Ilocos Norte, marking a significant move for smart and efficient power distribution in the province. The switching ceremony took place at the INEC Main Office in Brgy. Suyo, Dingras, attended by key officials and stakeholders from the local government and energy sector.
The Switching Ceremony was attended by Ilocos Norte Governor Hon. Matthew Marcos Manotoc, Vice Governor Hon. Cecilia Araneta Marcos, and NEA Administrator Hon. Antonio Mariano C. Almeda, whose support underscores the national government’s commitment to modernizing the country’s power distribution infrastructure. Also present were Acting General Manager of INEC, Mr. Cipriano “Perry” E. Martinez III, INEC Board President Atty. Nick Malasig II, and other members of the INEC Board of Directors.

Lin Man Power served as a major sponsor for the annual National Electrification Authority (NEA) and Electric Cooperative (EC) Convergence held in Bacolod City from August 7-9, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center. Celebrating NEA’s 56th anniversary under the theme “Powering the Future,” the event gathered electric cooperatives to discuss rural electrification, commemorate achievements, and set future objectives. Energy Secretary Sharon Garin and NEA Administrator Mr. Antonio “Nani” Almeda were also present. During the event, Lin Man highlighted its Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solutions.

Lin Man Power Technology, Inc. and DITO Business officially sealed their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing at the DITO business Hub.

The partnership is set to deliver innovative solutions and reliable connectivity services, empowering Lin Man Power Technology’s operations while driving growth, efficiency, and sustainable practices. The MOU was signed by Lin Man Power Chairman Jovita Yeo, Lin Man President Ivan Yeo, DITO Chief Revenue Officer Adel Tamano and Deputy Chief Revenue Officer Luigi Lopa.

Lin Man Power and NTT Data have entered into a Teaming Agreement to collaboratively deploy AMI smart meters across the country.

Lin Man Power Technology, Inc. and NTT Data have entered into a Teaming Agreement to jointly develop and implement comprehensive Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems tailored to meet the needs of private power distribution utilities and electric cooperatives for automating their distribution networks.

AMI is a bidirectional communication system that utilizes smart meters, network technology, and data management to provide utilities and customers with real-time consumption data for electricity, gas, and water. This enables remote control, quicker outage detection, demand response capabilities, and enhanced operational efficiency by replacing manual meter readings with automated, detailed data collection. The agreement was formalized by Lin Man Power Chairman Jovita Yeo and NTT Data President and CEO Ryan Guadalquiver.
